Build Your Own LEGO YouTube Logo

I'm subscribed to Brick Sculpt on YouTube, and in all of Chris's videos, he has this cool little LEGO YouTube logo sitting on his build table. I always thought it was such a cute little build, so I recently asked if he had instructions for it. Sadly… no.
So today, I designed my own version in BrickLink Studio!
I borrowed heavily from Chris's build, which you can see below in my screenshot from one of his videos:

There are a few notable features of Chris's design that I noticed:
Asymmetry
There seems to be an intentional asymmetry throughout the build. This isn't quite greebling, but a similar technique to make the surface more textured and interesting.
Mixed orientation
The build combines multiple LEGO orientations. The top half of the build appears to consist of bricks stacked vertically, with their studs facing up.
Then some sort of stud reversal technique is used at its horizontal midline, and the bottom half is made of vertically stacked bricks, studs down.
Then SNOT bricks are used on the sides to attach the left and right curved caps.
And smack dab in the middle of it all, a 80x80 LDU square is carved out so that a 4x4 stud play button can face studs-out toward the viewer.
My turn!
While I appreciate the asymmetrical style of Brick Sculpt's YouTube logo, it's not the style I would've gone to first for the YouTube logo. I would've tried for the cleanest look possible for this simple, flat logo.
And as far as the mixed orientation goes, that just feels too hard! I decided to try a version of this logo where the primary stud direction throughout the build is toward the viewer and the surface is finished with tile.
Of course, we'll need some SNOT work to attach the curved edges, but hopefully I can make that minimal.
Your turn!
After playing around a little in Studio, I landed on a version I really enjoy. I even worked up the build instructions, which you can download for free right here!
You can also find this design on my BrickLink, where you can download my Studio file or buy all the parts you'd need to build it yourself! As of this writing, the 143 parts cost ~$20 with shipping (to Michigan).
And here's an overhead render of my design, next to (and overlaying) the actual YouTube logo. Pretty good, I'd say!

I hope you enjoy this design! Now, subscribe to my YouTube so so you don't miss its maiden voyage on the channel; the LEGO parts are still on their way to me!
